Furniture
Refinishing and French Polish
Bring
your Antique Furniture to life!
The first step to refinishing an antique is a thorough evaluation
of the existing paint/finish. We determine how many layers of paint
have been applied, and if there is a shellac layer protecting the
wood. An estimate is given based upon the evaluation.
We
can work in the way that best suits your schedule - by working to
get the furniture stripped and stained and polished as soon as possible,
or working during selected hours. We will agree to a working schedule
before the project begins.
We
can work on site, or take your furniture to our studio. We
can match to an existing piece of furniture, or restore to the original
color. Repair water damage, scuffs, burn marks, cracked varnish
and more.
If you're renovating your home and adding new cabinets,
we can match them to the existing wood. Floor board moulding and
ceiling moulding can be removed, repaired, and replaced in the case
of damage.

French Polish for pianos
and other fine furniture. French Polish is a quality process
that gives your furniture multiple layers of polished lacquer for
a high-gloss, elegant look.
